Back Again Friday 11th of May.

A small update folks. Life as always has its own plans which take precedence over your own imaginary ones. So the supper club moves to the 11th of May now. This length of hiatus might merit a full relaunch party

So as soon as we both return from a visit to England and Wales, and after a far too long hiatus
we will be really happy to resume the serious and pleasurable business of feeding people.
I've been itching to include the fantastic local Porco Preto, "black pork" from the Iberian black pig, a true heirloom or heritage semi-wild indigenous breed which does not lend itself to any kind of factory farming and is allowed to forage and feed on the local acorns of the cork oaks. Our superb raw dairy connection, keeps us in the best cream I've had in years and we strive to make the local produce feature large in the food.

As usual

Well The middle eastern night was fun and full of gratuitous excess, but the evening that followed was truly special. A performance and sound ceremony by Munayki - A truly magical evening, full moon puja/ land healing with Lucho Quitanilla and Patricia Lesage on the circular terrace specially prepared for sacred purpose by tamasina In the midst of the monsoon rains of April, the gods were kind, the rain and wind stayed away and the moon showed her beautiful face the whole time. Lucho is the real thing , an authentic Peruvian great soul, immersed in the earth and water cultures and their magic transmitted in an authentic lineage. He has wanted to do ceremony to honour this mountain ever since he came here for Peru. We were all transported. For a moment there when the great drum reverberated through the valley shattered the silence and every object simply vanished and there was nothing but the moon. Afterwards an authentic black Oaxacan Mole sauce to continue with the south american theme, and good company way past midnight.
