Goan Food Evening
Maybe its the fact that moving around the Algarve this summer has been so evocative of many places
I've been, and memories of places from decades ago. The bougainvilleas, red tiled roofs, whitewashed farm buildings and the sight of slightly feral looking happy pigs and donkeys shading themselves from the noon day sun. I could be talking about Goa, the other Portugal, where vestiges of Portuguese food still linger on in the menus and in the local recipes. So to end this Indian summer and to celebrate my lovely wife's birthday; a trip to old Goa.
